• The Swiss Ski School declines any, and all responsibility in case of accident.

• Lift passes are not included in the lesson price. (Children under 6 years of age are free)

• The location and start times of lessons must be respected.

• . For the group activities, the instructor is not required to wait for latecomers. For private lessons, the instructor does no need to add your delay to his lesson.

• Conditions applying for group lessons:

• In group lessons, should the level of the student in place not correspond to the level of the class, the ESS Leysin  reserves the right to place the student in a lesson of the appropriate level within the limits of places available.

• In periods of low bookings, two levels or age categories can be combined.

• Group lessons with less than 4 people are reduced by one hour.

• These modifications do not entitle the participants to claim any reimbursement or compensation payment.

• Some waiting or queuing at ski-lifts may be necessary during lesson time. Instructors cannot wait for clients who arrive late for group lessons.

• Group lessons are taught in French &/or English.

• The wearing of helmets is strongly recommended for children. Clothing must be appropriate for winter conditions; a warm jacket, hat, gloves, sunglasses or goggles and sun cream. (A helmet and back protection are required for freestyle lessons.)

Modifications / Cancellations / Refunds:

• Lessons are held in all types of weather. Meteorological conditions, under no circumstances, are considered reason for lesson cancellation or postponement. As long as the ESS Leysin is carrying out the lesson, no refund, postponement or compensation payments will be made.

• For group and private lessons, the lessons may be changed based on availability not less than 24 hours in advance of the start of the lesson.

• Any cancellation of lesson will be taken in consideration and reimbursed in full only if it is effected a minimum of 48 hours in advance.  Otherwise, the total will due in full or non-refundable.

• Lessons will not be refunded, nor repeated due to absence or late arrival of the student at the beginning of the lesson.

• In the event of a total closure of the ski lift area, Replacement options will be proposed. No refund, or compensation payments will be made without «Cours Protect» Insurance

Insurance « Cours Protect »

• « Cours Protect » only insures the lessons booked or bought from the ESS Leysin

• Fee : CHF 5.- per day and per person

•  « Cours Protect » will insure the above mentioned services in the following situations :

  • Sickness with medical certificate

  • Accident with medical certificate

  • Total closure of the ski resort

  • Specificities due to the Covid-19
